Luxurious furnishings, bold patterns and stunning textures enhance this Westmount townhouse. Interior designer Valérie Morisset wanted to create a cozy home for this family of three. Only the best was chosen: Vico Magistretti's Atollo brass lamps for Oluce, Marcel Breuer's cowhide Wassily chairs for Knoll and Scalamandré's Safari Brown Zebra wallpaper, to name but a few. The dining table was custom-designed by Morisset, in teak and frosted Nero Tunisi marble, then paired with iconic Chandigarh armchairs by Pierre Jeanneret. As Hubert de Givenchy once said: "Luxury is in the detail".

Making a rental home your own is all about decorating, since you can't touch the structural elements. Here, beautiful materials and neutral hues accented with gold correspond to the refined tastes of her clients, perfectly captured by designer Valérie Morisset. An interior designer for 20 years, Valérie Morisset was commissioned to decorate this Montreal house rented by Liz and Jordan, an American couple, to make them feel truly at home. "My client runs a fashion business. She and her husband have traveled the world, living in Hong Kong, San Francisco, New York... They have beautiful taste and were very involved in the project," says the designer, who was able to capture their passion for art and elegant furniture.
