Tucked along the edge of a tranquil lake in Mont-Tremblant, this country home is a layered reflection of place, memory, and refined simplicity. Each space is carefully composed yet warmly lived in, balancing sophistication with ease.

The living room anchors the home with quiet elegance. A tailored sofa in deep blue fabrics mirrors the shifting tones of the lake, while a Moroccan rug gathered on the clients’ travels adds story and texture. Lime-washed cream walls soften the light, and above the sofa, a artwork by Quebec painter Louis Boudreault offers a final note of refinement.

This thoughtful layering carries throughout. In the mudroom, a tartan rug injects pattern and durability into a hardworking space. Across the home, curated colour accents punctuate a serene palette of creams and woods. Custom-designed rugs bring individuality, its contemporary pattern anchoring the circulation spaces with subtle drama.

The kitchen’s wood cabinetry offers depth and warmth, while the dining area pairs rustic elements with unexpected colour. Upstairs, the girls’ bedroom introduces whimsy with vintage wallpaper and bold black-and-white patterned fabrics, while the boy’s room in soft blues is finished with linen drapes and a sculptural pendant light.

An octagonal gazebo, dressed in cheerful yellow-and-white striped drapery, invites year-round gatherings, from cozy winter evenings to long summer nights. Throughout, French-pleated drapes in varied fabrics add warmth.

Grounded in the Laurentian landscape, this house is both a refuge and a reflection, where design, memory, and craft come seamlessly together.
