The Beach House residence, designed by Ghoche Architecture, is a new construction located on the shores of the majestic Lac Archambault in the St-Donat region. The site features a red sand beach, a rare characteristic in Quebec. The beach, the open views, and the abundant sunlight served as the main inspirations for this coastal-style chalet.

The architecture and interior design come together seamlessly to create a harmonious retreat that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. The architectural language is defined by a light palette of materials and simple volumes.

For the interior decor, the homeowners entrusted interior designers Valérie Morisset and Jacinthe Piotte to craft spaces that reflect the home’s serene natural setting. They opted for a light yet soft colourful palette, echoing the subtle tones of the surrounding landscape. The interiors are enriched with custom furniture, sophisticated decorative lighting, and a striking art installation by ceramic artist Pascale Girardin, inspired by the flora of the Laurentians. Together, these elements create a refined and timeless atmosphere.
