Nestled in the heart of Outremont, this kitchen renovation beautifully bridges heritage and modernity within a vast and sumptuous residence that epitomizes timeless elegance.
The owners, deeply committed to preserving the home’s architectural integrity, approached the transformation with a refined respect for its original character. Designed in collaboration between interior designers Valérie Morisset and Jacinthe Piotte, and realized with the expertise of Ghoche Architecture and cabinetmaker Loeven Morcel, the project achieves a masterful balance between contemporary sophistication and historic charm.
A refined mix of materials brings depth and character to the space: light and dark oak cabinetry, granite countertops, Élitis wallpaper, exposed brick, and a striking blue ceiling create a layered environment rich in contrast and warmth. The centrepiece, a custom-designed hood above a professional Bertazzoni gas range, anchors the composition, while Murano glass pendants add a touch of artistry and luminosity. Bathed in natural light, this kitchen harmonizes craft and innovation, enhancing the grandeur of the residence. It is a space where history and modernity coexist seamlessly.
